Refresh your room with a personalized design that suits your lifestyle. The service starts with a focused consultation to capture your needs and aesthetic. You’ll get a tailored concept with color, material and styling guidance, plus a 2D floor plan showing furniture placement, circulation and functional zones. Layout notes explain each change and simple tweaks you can make now. A curated shopping list follows, with recommended items, sizes and sourcing that suit your style and budget; so you can update your room confidently and with lasting style.
Vintage & Antique Sourcing
We source, vet, and buy vintage and antique furniture and décor per the Client's brief and budget. We search estate sales, auctions, collections, dealers, and markets; inspect items for condition, authenticity, and provenance; document and photograph them; negotiate or bid; and handle payment. After purchase, we arrange packing and transport, keep the Client informed, offer alternatives, and ensure each item meets aesthetic and quality standards.
Move-in Ready / Relocation Furnishing
Complete furnishing of your new Chicago Address to make the home move-in ready. We provide all furniture, kitchenware, bedding & linens, art and wall decor, and household items. We manage purchasing, delivery, vendor/building coordination, inspections, returns, and on-site setup and styling (furniture placement, art hanging, bed making, surface staging). At the end of the service, you will have a fully furnished, functional, styled home ready for immediate occupancy.
Our Project Fee Framework
We believe professional styling should be accessible, predictable, and fair. To eliminate hidden surcharges or unpredictable hourly rates, our standalone flat project fees are calculated strictly by the physical square footage of the space we are actively transforming:
Room Refresh Package: Billed as a predictable flat fee based entirely on the square footage of the specific room or rooms being styled. This fee is due upfront and covers all scale layouts, 2D floor plans, and aesthetic concept development for your existing space.
Move-In Ready / Relocation Package: A standalone flat fee calculated by the square footage of the property being prepared for your arrival. This comprehensive service replaces the room refresh fee and covers all retail procurement tracking, delivery scheduling, vendor management, and complete on-site turn-key styling.
Vintage Curation: To account for the highly personalized labor of scouting regional estate sales and private collections, vintage furniture is handled via a transparent, graduated cost-plus model based sequentially on item price.
0% Retail Markup Policy: Wright & Row charges absolutely zero markup on new retail furniture purchases. All client items are passed along directly at retail cost.
Additional Consulting & Revisions: A standard hourly consulting rate applies to any design revisions requested outside the original contract scope. This hourly rate also applies if a client requests accompanied in-person retail showroom visits.
